Hello, My name is Penelope Withrow (AKA) Penny. I was inspired by the Creator to deliver positive messages with the use of original prints and African Proverbs. I am a native of Springfield, Massachusetts, however, I have called North Carolina home since the early 70’s.I am a graduate of Gardner-Webb University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. My interest in the arts began early in life and with little formal art education I consider my work a grass roots approach.My current medium consist of artist ink in black and white, while continuing to explore various mediums over the next several months. My target audience includes all people of all ages seeking a higher level of consciousness. Words do have the power to elevate a person and guide him or her, young or old to unlimited possibilities.

It is her belief that the word has the power to elevate a people and guide them, young and old, to a better place in life.
